Author & Founder

Samantha Tallman, PMHNP-BC

Founder of Tallman Psychiatry | Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Samantha Tallman founded Tallman Psychiatry to provide thoughtful, whole-person psychiatric care by secure telehealth for patients in North Carolina and Arizona. Her clinical background spans psychiatric nursing, emergency and trauma care, telepsychiatry, and patient education, and that range shapes how she listens, reasons through what may be contributing, and explains it in plain language.

Clinical Approach

Care begins with understanding. Symptoms are read alongside history, environment, relationships, strengths, and goals.

Decisions are shared. Clear education and informed consent come before any treatment plan, and plans are revisited as things change.

Medication is one tool among several. When it fits, care also draws on therapy-informed strategies, behavioral skills, and practical lifestyle work.

A fuller description of her background and credentials is on the About page, and available care is outlined under Services.
